EASIER TO BE AN ECO-FRIENDLY MOM

I always feel like I should be doing more to help/save the environment, but don't know where to start. If I log onto some environmental web sites, I get overwhelmed. Finally, a site just launched for moms who want to be more eco-friendly by starting with baby steps: www.GreenMomsCoastSide.com.
Green Moms have a tag line "Start Easy, Go Greener" and they really do make it easy. I can instantly take action when I see how they break out how to be good to the environment because they relate their tips to things I do in everyday life. They also organize the action items by category, such as cleaning supplies, clothing, gift wrap, transportation and more. I will try a few of their ideas this week, but I won't make my own cleaning solution with vinegar or give only homemade gifts to my sons' friends. I will buy eco-friendly soap. I will research a hybrid SUV (the lease on my gas-guzzling Volvo SUV is up in three months). I think I can be environmentally hip. Check back next week to see if I am.
